About Karl's CDL Training

Who We Are

Karl’s Transport Commercial Driver CDL Training School is part of Karl’s Transport Inc., a 30 plus year trucking company that prides itself in family, flexibility and professionalism.

Our training facility and trucking company are based in Antigo, WI. Antigo is located in the beautiful northwoods of Wisconsin.

Our Program

The Truck Driving Certificate Program prepares learners with the skills and knowledge to become safe, professional drivers of commercial motor vehicles. This program emphasizes hands-on learning to teach and develop safe driving techniques, shifting, turning, inspections, and common to unusual backing maneuvers. Limited lecture and online materials are used to provide a solid foundation in industry related issues drivers face.

Our Mission

The mission and purpose of Karl’s Transport Commercial Driver CDL Training School is clear and uncompromising. The objective is to prepare students with the knowledge and skills that will qualify them for entry level jobs within Karl’s Transport and the trucking industry. Emphasis is placed on safety, a thorough understanding of the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Rules and Regulations, the operation of heavy duty tractor/trailer equipment, and defensive driving techniques necessary in developing the skill level required to pass the Commercial Drivers License Examination. Karl’s Transport Commercial Driver CDL Training School is designed to train, educate, and assist in the placement process in the trucking industry.

What Sets Us Apart?

  1. We exceed the state minimum requirements for Entry Level Driver Training. These hours are spent on the range and on the road and in the classroom
  2. Additional hours will help increase your practical skills and broaden your knowledge before embarking on a career.
  3. We have small classes, maximum of 6 students which allows more time with instructors and in the seat on the range and on the road.
  4. Karl’s CDL Training  gives you additional knowledge and a skill set that the CDL testing may not cover. These skills are pertinent for a successful trucking career.
  5. Our school doesn’t stop at teaching you how to pass a test. We teach you to be a career success!
  6. We teach anyone wanting a CDL, not just our employees. We can help companies fill seats and individuals fulfill dreams
